Privacy Policy
We keep this simple. This page explains what information we collect when you use our website or get in touch, why we collect it, and the choices you have over it.

Who we are
This website is run by TrustFrontStudio (“we”, “us” or “our”). We design and build websites for businesses. If you have any questions about your privacy, email us at hello@trustfrontstudio.com and we'll help.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to talk to you and run a fast, reliable website:
- Details you send us through the contact form — your name, business name, phone number, email address (optional) and the message you write.
- Basic analytics — anonymous, aggregated information about how people use the site (pages viewed, device type, rough region), collected through Google Analytics cookies. We do not tie this to your name.
- How you interact with the site — to spot where the site is confusing or broken, we use Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymous heatmaps and session replays (clicks, scrolls and mouse movement). It automatically masks the text you type, so we don't see what you enter into forms this way, and it isn't linked to your name.
- Standard server logs — like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your request. This helps keep the site secure and working.
We never ask for sensitive information, and we don't buy or sell personal data.
How we use it
We use the information above to:
- Respond to your enquiry and answer your questions.
- Prepare and send you a quote for the work you're interested in.
- Record your enquiry in our own customer-records system (CRM), and keep a secure backup copy, so we can follow up properly and never lose your message.
- Understand which pages are useful so we can improve the site.
- Keep the website secure and prevent spam or abuse.
We do not use your contact details for unrelated marketing. If we ever wanted to, we'd ask you first.
How we use AI
When we prepare a draft website or proposal for your business, we use AI tools to help write the first draft of the copy. To do that, we share your business details with those tools — things like your business name, your type of business, and your town or city. We do not share website analytics, cookies, passwords or payment-card information.
The AI providers (listed below) only use this information to generate the draft text for us. Under their business terms, they do not use it to train their AI models.
The services we rely on
To run the site and reply to you, we use a small number of trusted third-party services. Each only receives the information it needs to do its job, and each has its own privacy policy:
- Google Analytics — measures website traffic anonymously.
- Microsoft Clarity — shows us anonymous heatmaps and session replays of how the site is used, so we can improve it. It masks the text you type into forms.
- GlitchTip — error monitoring. If something breaks in your browser, it automatically reports the technical details of the error so we can fix it. It receives error and device information, not your enquiry details.
- Anthropic and OpenAI— power the AI assistant in the chat bubble. When you send it a message, that message and the rest of that conversation are sent to one of them to generate a reply. We do not store your conversations, and the assistant is instructed not to ask you for personal details — please don’t type anything into it you wouldn’t want sent to a third party. Use the contact form or WhatsApp for anything private.
- Resend — delivers your contact-form enquiry to our inbox by email.
- Telegram — sends us an instant message when you submit the form (your name, contact details and message) so we see your enquiry straight away and can reply quickly.
- Calendly— if you use the “Book a call” button, it takes you to Calendly, a third-party scheduling service with its own privacy policy, where you enter your booking details directly.
- Netlify — our hosting provider. It serves the website, keeps the standard server logs described above, and holds a secure backup copy of contact-form enquiries so a message can never be lost in transit.
- OpenAI — an AI service we use to help generate the draft website copy and proposals we prepare for you. It has its own privacy policy.
- Anthropic— a second AI service we use as an automatic backup for the same drafting, if OpenAI isn't available. It also has its own privacy policy.
- Our CRM — our internal system for keeping track of enquiries and follow-ups, which is operated for TrustFrontStudio.
Cookies & analytics
We use a small number of cookies, mainly to power Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity so we can see how the site is performing and where it can be improved. These don't identify you personally. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time — the site will still work.
How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry details — in our CRM and the secure backup copy described above — for as long as we're in conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us, typically up to two years, then we delete or anonymise them. If you ask us to delete your details sooner, we remove them from our systems. Analytics data is retained for a limited time in line with Google Analytics' standard settings.
Your choices & rights
It's your information, and you're in control. You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Just email hello@trustfrontstudio.com and we'll action your request. You can also opt out of analytics tracking by blocking cookies in your browser.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information and only share it with the services listed above. No system online is ever completely risk-free, but we treat your details with care.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our business or the law changes. When we do, we'll revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. If you have any questions, just email us.
